If you are already admitted for UMBC’s fall semester, you are eligible to enroll in summer session courses.  No additional application is necessary, but you must contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions to change your start date from the fall semester to summer session.

Summer session is a great time for new incoming students to grit going.   Lighten your fall class load, take prerequisite courses, and get familiar with UMBC. Smaller classes and dedicated faculty will give you a jump start and help keep you on track to graduate on time.

Be sure to review the academic and financial dates and deadlines for summer session.

Virtual Program: July 6th –August 13th, 2020

Dawg Days: Jumpstart is a great way to get earn academic credits, learn about campus resources, and get an early start on your college career. Take a math, writing, and/or general education course during the summer along with an interactive transition seminar in the fall to help ease the transition to college.
