Summer session is a great way for UMBC students to catch up or get ahead.
Registration begins March 5. No application is necessary – currently enrolled students are eligible to register for summer session. Advising is recommended, but not required.
UMBC offers several online tools to help you plan your schedule.
Academic Pathways is a degree-planning guide that allows you to search by major for a complete list of the courses you’ll need to graduate from UMBC in four years. Many general education (GEP) and required courses are offered in summer session to help you stay on track and graduate on time.
Schedule Planner is a web based planning tool to assist you in selecting the best schedule from multiple options. Use this tool to choose desired courses, and setup blocked times for events such as work, study time, and lunch. Once you select your schedule, you can import it directly into myUMBC. Launch Schedule Planner from your myUMBC page.
